Aquatics
In our fully-stocked fish room, you’ll discover a diverse selection of healthy tropical and cold-water fish, including beautiful fancy goldfish.
We also stock a range of aquariums, decorations, and essential equipment to help you create the perfect underwater world at home.
Our team has successfully completed the OATA (Ornamental Aquatic Trade Association) training course, ensuring knowledgeable and responsible care. We’re always happy to answer your questions and offer guidance—whether you’re a beginner or an experienced aquarist.
Birds
We specialise in breeding a variety of parrots including Budgies, three types of Conures, Rosellas, Ringnecks, and African Greys.
During the breeding season, we also offer a selection of canaries, finches, and other small birds—sourced from trusted local breeders.
For bird owners needing additional support, we’re proud to have our very own Parrot Behaviourist on hand. Whether you need help with training, socialisation, or behavioural issues, we’re here to help your feathered friend thrive.
Dog Grooming
Thorunn — the Icelandic form of Thor — qualified as a professional dog groomer in 2005. With years of experience and a genuine passion for canine care, her primary focus during every grooming session is the well-being and comfort of the dog in her care.
Thorunn has an exceptional rapport with dogs, so much so that many of our customers affectionately refer to her as “the dog whisperer.”
Appointments & Walk-Ins
Dog grooming services are available by appointment only. However, if your dog just needs a nail trim, we usually welcome walk-ins. That said, it’s always a good idea to give us a quick call beforehand to ensure Thorunn is available when you visit.
Our shop and dog grooming parlour is located in Pontfaen, Lliswerry.
